There's a good reason why we call this our Max Mix - it has all the benefits of our Eat-It-All Mix but also contains high energy Suet Pellets  which make this the perfect energy-providing bird food.

Speaking of high energy, as well as Suet Pellets our Max Mix contains a high proportion of Sunflower Hearts, White Millet, Canary Seed and Peanut Granules. Does it attract birds? You bet!  This is what it could attract, (put the kettle on as this may take a while) : Robins, Blackbirds, Yellowhammers, Starlings, Song Thrushes and even Bramblings when feeding from the ground or from a bird table. However, it's equally at home in a hanging bird feeder, where it may attract Blue Tits, House Sparrows, Coal Tits, Long-Tailed Tits, Goldfinches, Greenfinches and even (wait for it…) a Great Spotted Woodpecker if you’re really lucky. How good would that be?

Feeding tips:

Feed The Max Mix from the ground or from bird tables, however, but it’s equally attractive when fed from a hanging bird feeder. It’s no waste properties make it ideal for year round feeding.

Take a look at the "Related Products" tab above to see the best feeders for The Max Mix.

Jenny says: This is a seriously good all round food for my 'best birds' – Yellowhammers, Woodpeckers, Goldfinches plus Bramblings in the winter. Sadly few Starlings visit my garden, but we have more Woodpeckers than you shake a stick at and I keep them happy with this plus Impeccable Peanuts. Perfect!
