If Wood Pigeons or Feral Pigeons are a problem in your garden and you would rather avoid these birds, they are less likely to be attracted to our No Wheat Wonder. This mix contains our Husky Dusky Black Sunflowers, Cut Maize, Red Millet, Yellow Millet, Pinhead Oatmeal and Canary seed. Why fewer Pigeons? Because there's no wheat in our No Wheat Wonder!
What you will find though is that Chaffinches, Robins, Dunnocks and Finches appreciate No Wheat Wonder when it is fed on a Ground Tray or directly on the ground, and the Finches, Sparrows and Tits will also take this all year round bird food from a hanging feeder. If you love the energy of Pigeons in your garden try our Frequent Feeder which contains the wheat that they especially like.
Feeding tips:
Try feeding No Wheat Wonder on three levels (ground, table and hanging feeder) to attract the maximum number of bird species.
During autumn and winter try adding our Sunflower Power Sunflower Hearts to No Wheat Wonder to increase its value to birds. Simply add a handful of sunflower hearts to the mix or, alternatively, try our Max Mix which comes complete with suet Power Pellets.

Jenny say: In my rural garden we have a surfeit of Wood Pigeons – sometimes as many as 200 can be seen in the field next door! I use No Wheat Wonder for a variety of birds here including Yellowhammers, Greenfinches and House Sparrows.
